On June 2, Huawei released its long-awaited smartphone operating system, HarmonyOS. Apart from its new look, this OS is designed for the Internet of Everything era and offers consumers a seamless cross-device experience.
After the launch, Huawei began rolling out the Harmony OS 2.0 stable software update to Huawei Mate 40, P40, Mate 30, and MatePad Pro series devices.
These models owners are overjoyed because they can now take advantage of Harmony OS’s latest features and software capabilities. Our Huawei smartphone users around the world, on the other hand, are still waiting for Huawei to confirm the latest OS rollout.
Huawei has yet to comment on the global release of Harmony OS, but it would be ideal if international users received the same treatment as Chinese customers.
In the meantime, we can entertain those who are eagerly anticipating the release of HarmonyOS by releasing the HarmonyOS theme, which you can download and install on your phone to give it the look and feel of HarmonyOS.
The theme includes Harmony OS icons, which are smoother and more attractive than EMUI icons, as well as a new Harmony OS wallpaper.
To download and install the HarmonyOS theme on your phone, follow the steps below or watch the video.
The direct file takes a few minutes to download (only for some users) and requires extraction to get the theme file.
