The latest in-house M1 Pro and M1 Max chipsets have been added to Apple’s MacBook Pro portfolio. The new MacBook will be available in two sizes: 14-inch and 16-inch and will feature a more premium look with flat sides and ultra-narrow front bezels. The new MacBook Pro displays, like the iPhone, include a notch to house a 1080p webcam and other sensors, but no Face ID. Physical function keys have been reintroduced to replace the Touch Bar and MagSafe 3.0 for rapid charging. The new MacBook Pro models are the first to have mini-LED technology, which was initially seen in Apple’s 12.9-inch iPad Pro earlier this year.
All New MacBook Pro! What it offers?
For the first time on a MacBook, the new Apple MacBook Pro notebooks include a 120Hz ProMotion display that automatically adjusts the refresh rate based on the content on the screen. They have a Liquid Retina XDR Display with a brightness of 1000nits and a peak brightness of 1600nits. According to Apple, the top bezel is 60 percent narrower, and the menu bar has been raised to accommodate the notch. The 16-inch MacBook Pro features a 16.2-inch display with a resolution of 3456 x 2234 pixels, while the 14-inch model has a 14.2-inch panel with a resolution of 3024 x 1964 pixels. The tiny LED technology screen is the same in both.
Onboard are three Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, HDMI, an SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The latest MacBook Pros come with up to 64GB of unified memory and up to 8TB of SSD storage. MacOS Monetary is the operating system that powers them. The new MacBook Pros are powered by the latest M1 Pro and M1 Max chipsets, which are said to be the most powerful on a computer. The M1 Pro contains a GPU with up to 16 cores and a CPU with up to ten cores, including eight high-performance cores and two high-efficiency cores. While the M1 Max has the same 10-core CPU as the M1 Pro, the GPU has been doubled, with up to 32 cores for up to 4x the GPU performance.
The 14-inch model is said to provide 17 hours of movie playback, which is an increase of 7 hours over the previous model. The 16-inch model, on the other hand, is claimed to last up to 21 hours on a single charge. They may now charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes thanks to the new rapid charging support. They have a more advanced thermal architecture that allows for improved cooling during high-intensity tasks. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 are among the connectivity options.
