Far Cry 6 is the next large game to secure a release date in the games industry’s release calendar for the rest of the year. The game was planned to be released in February, however, Ubisoft had to postpone it due to the impact of COVID-19. The newest installment in the long-running series will be released on October 7th for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Google Stadia.

Rather than waiting until its E3 presentation in a few weeks, the publisher has released an early glimpse at gameplay. Far Cry 6 is set in Yara, a fictitious Cuba in which you will play as Dani Rojas
A comic book-inspired special weapon, such as a jetpack, rocket launcher, or flamethrower, will be available to equip on a Supremo backpack. There are also special vehicles and horses to assist you in your travels.
Despite the abundance of jungle landscapes and coastlines to explore, Far Cry 6 has an urban setting for the first time in the game, Yara’s capital city Esperanza. Esperanza provides a little extra verticality to the game by allowing you to traverse rooftops and get the upper hand on foes.
