GoPro, a famous action camera maker has announced a new camera called ‘Hero10 Black’ with 5.3K video recording capabilities, a new processor, etc., This is a successor to Hero9 which was released in November of 2020. So in this blog let’s have a closer look at this newly launched action camera.
GoPro Hero10 Black Features:
The upgraded GP2 processor, the ability to shoot 5.3K video at 60 frames per second, a better resolution 23-megapixel sensor, and improved low-light performance are all aspects of the GoPro Hero 10 Black. HyperSmooth 4.0 video stabilization is also included.
Video Recording: The 23.6-megapixel sensor in the GoPro Hero 10 Black can shoot 5.3K video at 60 frames per second, 4K video at 120 frames per second, and 2.7K video at 240 frames per second. Improved video algorithms such as local tone mapping (LTM) and 3D noise reduction are included (3DNR).
Stabilization while Capturing: The GoPro Hero 10 Black features the brand’s latest HyperSmooth 4.0 video stabilisation technology, which the company claims will smooth out even the shakiest experiences. In high-performance settings, the business has updated its horizon leveling tool, which now has a tilt maximum of 45 degrees, up from 27 degrees.
It also supports TimeWarp 3.0 Video, SuperPhoto + HDR, Night Lapse Video, Webcam Mode, Voice Control, RAW in All Photo Modes, Touch Zoom, Portrait Orientation, Photo Timer, 8x Slo-Mo, and a 3.5mm mic input.
It also includes PowerTools such as HindSight, LiveBurst, Scheduled Capture, and Duration Capture, as well as the ability to edit photos directly in the Quik App. The battery is a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery with a capacity of 1720mAh. Finally, there’s a Magnetic Swivel Clip, a spare battery, a Shorty, a 32GB microSD card, and a camera bag included in the accessories package.
HERO10 Black offers three ways to conveniently access your photos and videos, including:
- Auto uploading your most recent footage to your GoPro cloud account while the camera is charging. Wireless offloading from the camera to the Quik app at speeds up to 30% faster than HERO9 Black
- A new USB wired offload option that transfers content from the camera to the Quik app on your phone at speeds up to 50% faster than wireless

The GoPro HERO10 Black costs Rs. 54,500 and will be available in India beginning in early November. It costs $399.98 (about Rs. 29,385 in India) with a one-year GoPro Subscription included, or $499.99 (roughly Rs. 36,730 in India) without a subscription for existing customers (for $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year), or $499.99 (roughly Rs. 36,730 in India).
