HONOR announced that the Snapdragon 778G Mobile Platform would be one of the first Android OEMs to use the latest chipset in its upcoming HONOR 50 series at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Tech Summit 2021 earlier this week. The phones will be released in June, according to the Honor CEO, who spoke at the Qualcomm China Tech Day 2021 summit today.
HONOR also mentioned that it is committed to developing forward-thinking technologies and that it has been working closely with its partners to share its customer experience and product development philosophy, as well as to enhance and improve chipset planning and design. The upcoming HONOR 50 Series, which will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G Mobile Platform, will include ground-breaking features, an attractive design, excellent imaging quality, and more, according to the business.
Honor 50 Series Launch Date and Leaks:
As per the CEO of HONOR, the smartphones will be released in June while the exact launch date is yet to confirm.
To add upon about the upcoming 50 Series, the Pro version i.e Honor 50 Pro might come with 100W fast charging support while the standard version will come with 66W according to 3C certifications which were received a few days back.
On the back of the Honor 50 series, there will be a 50MP main camera encircled by a dual ring pattern. A 6.79-inch AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, 13MP ultra-wide camera, 8MP telephoto shooter, and dual selfie cameras – 32MP + 8MP – are among the other rumored highlights about these upcoming smartphones.
