On October 1, 2021, the Oppo A55 smartphone was released. The phone has a 6.51-inch touchscreen display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. The Oppo A55 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor. It has 4GB of RAM in total. The Oppo A55 runs Android 11 and is powered by a 5000mAh battery. Oppo’s proprietary fast charging technology is compatible with the Oppo A55.
A 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and another 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture make up the Oppo A55’s triple camera setup on the back. On the back camera, autofocus is available. For selfies, it has a single front-facing camera with a 16-megapixel sensor.
The Oppo A55 comes with 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card (up to 256GB) in a dedicated slot and runs ColorOS 11.1 on top of Android 11. The Oppo A55 is a dual-SIM phone with Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM card slots. The Oppo A55 measures 163.60 x 75.70 x 8.40mm and weighs 193.00 grams (height x width x thickness). Rainbow Blue and Starry Black were the two colors available.
The Oppo A55 has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, USB OTG, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G. (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). The phone’s sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.
The Oppo A55 4GB – 64GB variant costs RS: 15,490, while the 6GB – 64GB variant costs RS: 16,490.
The 128GB model costs RS: 17,490. The 4GB – 64GB model will be available on Amazon. From October 3 to October 11, the 6GB – 128GB variant will be available on Amazon India. A55 will be sold in all brick-and-mortar stores.
