Vivo has just unveiled the Vivo S9 5G and Se 5G, which share the same exterior design but have upgraded internals. Hardware is now capable of 5G connectivity, which is why these are the names. as you can probably expect, the S9 is a lower-specification model of the S9
How about the S9 5G? It is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset, which is built on the 6nm node and holds either 8GB/128GB or 12GB/256GB of memory. the screen still has a 6.44-inch diagonal, but has a notch for the front-facing camera The panel supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) and offers a high FHD+ frame rate (90Hz).
The cameras included a 64MP unit with an ultra-wide-angle lens of 8MP,000 millimeters and a 2,000mm macro unit. The slot on the front is just big enough to hold a 44MP main camera, and an 8MP still.
It is rated at 4,000mAh and supports 33W fast charging. the device uses the new OriginOS, which is based on Android version 10
The S9e-series 5G model has retained the notch, but exchanged it for a waterdrop-looking one, featuring a single camera with a 32MP resolution. Additionally, the chipset is available in two memory configurations: 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256.
The same type of three-camera module is found on the rear.
These devices are available in China for the base price of CNY 2,999 (~465) and CNY, 3, 3299 (~510), respectively. The S9e version starts at CNY 2,399 (about $370) for the 8GB/128GB, and rises to CNY 2,699 (about $420) for the 8GB/256GB one. The S9 5G’s global availability will begin on March 12th, but the China S9 has not been announced yet.
