Xiaomi Mi 11X-series phones on the 23rd April in India

On April 23, Xiaomi will launch the Mi 11 Ultra, as well as other Mi 11 phones, in India. In addition, the company has announced that it will launch a new smartphone series, the Mi 11X series, in India on the same day.

The Mi X series will be a flagship series, with the Mi 11X most likely being the first device.

Mi 11X

Xiaomi has confirmed the arrival of the new flagship series in India via an official teaser and save the dates. People can expect “Xtreme performance, Xceptional Display, and Xquisite design” from the new smartphone series.

While the phone’s name has yet to be revealed, it could be the Mi 11X, which is a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 that has been sold in international markets as the Poco F3.

It’s also been revealed (thanks to Manu Kumar Jain) that the Mi X series will be customized, which means it could include a number of changes tailored specifically for Indian users.

Mi 11X specs, features, & Expected price

For those unfamiliar, the Mi 11X is a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate that falls in the upper mid-range price segment. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and up to 8GB of RAM as well as 256GB of storage.

There are three rear cameras on the camera front (a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens). The front camera has a resolution of 32 megapixels. It is powered by a 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast charging capability. MIUI 12 is installed on the Mi 11X, which is based on Android 11.

There’s also a fingerprint scanner on the side, dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos surround sound, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and more.

We don’t have a specific figure for the price. However, given the Redmi K40’s starting price of CNY 1,999 (roughly ₹22,000), we can expect the phone to be priced under ₹30,000.

We won’t know what device will be released as part of the Mi X series until the April 23 event, so we’ll have to wait until then to get a better idea. As a result, stay tuned for more information.
