Google Pixel 6 Pro will pack the largest sensor on a pixel phone ever! In-depth specs reveal

Google Pixel 6 Series of smartphone’s leak have been flooding every day. We can’t say we’re surprised that the Pixel 6 pair has been leaked yet again. Carphone Warehouse jumped the gun this time, publishing pages for both models before anyone else. They’ve now been removed, but not before Evan Blass noticed them. Before the October 19 event, here’s everything you need to know about the new Google phones.

Google Pixel 6 Pro Detailed Specifications: (leaked)

80% Faster SoC:

Let’s take a look at the Pixel 6 Pro first. Google’s first custom-built processor powers it. The business has previously created an image processing chip, but it wasn’t an integrated design. On-device AI hardware called the Google Tensor chipset speeds up features like Night Sight, Portrait Mode, and the new Magic Eraser (more on that in a bit). Despite being intended for power saving, it is 80 percent quicker than the Snapdragon 765G in the Pixel 5.

LTPO OLED Screen:

A 6.7-inch LTPO OLED screen with a variable refresh rate of 10 to 120 Hz will be used. It will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, and the entire phone will be dust and water-resistant to IP68 standards.

Large Main Sensor:

The Pro model has the most advanced camera that has ever been found on a Google phone. It starts with the main module, which has a 50 MP sensor that is substantially larger than the Pixel 5’s tiny 1/2.55″ sensor. It collects 150 percent more light, making it ideal for night photography.

In addition, the telephoto lens has returned. This one has a 4x optical magnification that can be increased to 20x with the help of Super Res Zoom. Apart from the fact that it would have a 12 MP sensor, not much is known about the super-wide camera. With a 94o field of view, the selfie camera will be quite wide (in RAW mode, presumably before lens correction).

Magic Eraser, on the other hand, is an AI programme that helps you eliminate undesired persons and objects from your photos. This will come in handy in crowded tourist places where you won’t be able to get the place to yourself. Face Unblur is another option for rescuing fuzzy photos by reconstructing the subject’s face.

The Pixel 6 Pro will be able to charge at 30W through USB-C, allowing it to reach 50% in 30 minutes (the 30W charger will be sold separately). Battery sharing and fast wireless charging @ 23W are also available.

Other Features:

With the new Titan M2 chip, a follow-up to the Titan M that debuted with the Pixel 3 series, security will be a top priority for the phone. Google will provide 5 years of security patches to assist it to combat new assaults.

Offline translations in 55 languages are another outstanding feature. You can use the camera to translate a sign or to receive translated captions for a podcast. The At a Glance function will provide essential information for impending events, such as your plane ticket. The Pixels will ship with Android 12 out of the box, while some functions will be Google-only.

Finally, a few finishing touches. Of course, there’s the 30W USB-C charger. The Pixel Stand wireless charger can transform the phone into a hub for controlling smart devices as well as a photo frame for displaying photos from Google Photos. A translucent protective cover constructed with over 30% post-consumer recycled plastics is also included.

Now we’ll have a look at the smaller Pixel 6. The Google Tensor chipset will also be used, along with the Titan M2 security chip. The phone will have the same 50-megapixel main and 12-megapixel ultra-wide cameras, but no telephoto module.

The display will be 6.4″ in size and will be an ordinary OLED. Although it will have a high refresh rate, it does not appear to be an LTPO panel. The phone will still be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, and it will be dust and water-resistant to IP68 standards.

The smaller Pixel 6 has the same accessories, however wireless charging is a little slower at 21W.

The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will be released on October 19, but only in eight countries will they be available, so your chances of getting one will be limited. The smaller Pixel 6 is expected to cost around €650.
