Motorola just teased the Edge X, which is likely to be released soon. The phone’s key hardware features were recently leaked, hinting at what’s to come. In some markets, it is expected to be known as the Moto Edge 30 Ultra. In collaboration with Steve Hemmerstoffer aka OnLeaks, 91mobiles now exclusively delivers you crisp 5K renderings, 360-degree video, and specifications. This is the phone’s most significant leak too far, and it leaves little to the imagination. The phone sports a punch-hole camera, a typical Moto dimple on the back, and a unique camera module with triple cameras, according to the renders. Here’s a look at the design and specifications in more detail.
Moto Edge 30 Ultra/Moto Edge X Design & Expected Specifications:
The Motorola Edge X includes a punch-hole cutout in the center for the selfie camera, thin bezels, and flat sides. On the left is the power button, while on the right is the volume rocker and, most likely, a Google Assistant key. The bottom of the device has the USB Type-C port, speaker grille, and primary microphone. The back panel has a small bend to it as it approaches the edges. It contains a rectangular module with three cameras, an LED flash, and a noise-canceling microphone. It’s possible that the fingerprint sensor will be integrated into the display. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is now available in Blue and Grey, however, more colours may be available at launch. That’s pretty much all there is to it in terms of design.
The phone will reportedly have a 6.6-inch flat display with a punch-hole cutout, according to OnLeaks. According to a recent leak, it will have an OLED display, a 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. A 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP secondary lens, and a 2MP third sensor will be housed in the triple camera arrangement on the rear. Surprisingly, the phone is believed to have a 60MP front-facing camera for selfies and videos. On any common phone, this is by far the highest selfie camera sensor. A 5000mAh battery is claimed to be on board. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is rumoured to have dimensions of 163.1 x 76.5 x 8.8mm (10mm including the rear camera bump).
The 50MP primary snapper is an OmniVision OV50A lens, the secondary lens is a Samsung JN150 ultrawide sensor, and the 2MP lens is an OmniVision OV20B1B depth sensor, according to previously leaked specifications. A 68W rapid charging feature will help the 5,000mAh battery last longer. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will be one of the first devices to have Qualcomm’s forthcoming Snapdragon 898 processor. The exact display size will be 6.67 inches, and there will be no 3.5mm audio jack. According to reports, the chipset will be combined with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage options. It will most likely run Android 11 with Motorola’s skin on top and feature stereo speakers as well as an IP52 rating. Finally, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity options may be available.
