OnePlus is prepping for the introduction of its OnePlus 9RT, a refined version of the already available OnePlus 9 smartphone which was announced on March 2021. The China launch date is set for the 13th of October. Alongside this smartphone, the company is also expected to launch OnePlus Buds Z2. So in this blog, we’ve tried to cover all information we know about these two products so far.
OnePlus 9RT to feature Snapdragon 888, 120Hz E4 AMOLED Screen and lot more…
The majority of the specifications for the OnePlus 9RT have been confirmed, and the phone’s official image has been released ahead of the unveiling on Wednesday. It will have a Samsung E4 AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 600Hz. Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 7GB of virtual memory will power the phone. A space cooling system of 19067.44 mm2 will be installed.
The 9RT is believed to employ the 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor that was recently used in the OnePlus Nord 2 instead of the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor used in the 9R. Since the company just launched the beta version of OxygenOS 12 for the OnePlus 9 series, it’s unclear if this will run Android 12 with OxygenOS 12 out of the box.
It will be available in two colours: silver and black, with the black version having a matte surface. It will have a 4500mAh battery with 65W Warp Charge 65T rapid charging capability. @evleaks has also released press renders of the phone, which reveals the phone’s rear side, which is expected to have a glass surface, as well as the phone’s metal frame. Although the package in the image appears to be smaller than the one that comes with the OnePlus 9 and 9R, it should include a charger.
OnePlus Buds Z2 Looks and Specifications:
The retail package for the OnePlus Buds Z2 has leaked ahead of the OnePlus 9RT launch on October 13. Along with China, the TWS is likely to debut in India. Although OnePlus has not confirmed the information, the TWS’ retail box has exposed some of the major specifications and features.
The TWS in its Black colour option is shown for the first time in the retail box leaked by Evan Blass. The White colour variation of the Buds Z2 was previously seen in leaked design images. On the outside, the charging cover has a glossy finish with the OnePlus logo on top. According to rumours, it will have a USB Type-C connection for quick charging. The red USB Type-C charging cord in the retail packaging likewise verifies the same.
OnePlus will provide three sets of silicone ear tips, with sizes ranging from small to large. The TWS will have a stem design that is comparable to the Buds Z. In comparison to the OnePlus Buds Z, the earbuds themselves are a little tilted. This may aid in providing a better fit.
Along with the appearance and contents of the box, the box also certifies the charging case’s battery capacity, which is 520 mAh. Some of the Buds Z2’s important features have also leaked online. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Dolby Atmos compatibility are rumoured to be included. The Buds Z2 with charging case is said to have a battery life of up to 38 hours. Each earbud is supposed to last 7 hours.
