A reputable Xiaomi tipster claims in a series of tweets that the company is planning to re-release its 2-year-old Redmi Note 8 phone in select markets. His claims are supported by an FCC listing that certifies a smartphone with the model number M1908C3JGG.
The device will be powered by the MediaTek G85 platform and feature a 4,000mAh battery, as well as MIUI 12.5 out of the box. The Snapdragon 665 was used in the 2019 Redmi Note 8, as well as the same 4,000 mAh battery.
