Upcoming ROG phone could support upto 65W charging as spotted on 3C’s certification

ASUS is expected to launch a new gaming smartphone in its ROG Phone series recently, the company has teased a poster picture of the phone on the Weibo handle that shows some of the features of the phone. Now we have found that the alleged ROG Phone 4 is classified on the 3C Certification Site, which reveals information about the battery on the smartphone. In the previous post, we noted that the company is preparing to launch early this time and, unexpectedly, the next day we spotted the phone at the 3C certification site. Here’s a closer look at the ROG Phone 4 list.

Last year ASUS ROG Phone 3 was released with the model number ASUS I003D and now the latest phone on the 3C list comes with the model number ASUS I005DA. It’s hard to say if the company’s brand name plans to launch a gaming smartphone. It is speculated that the ASUS I005DA handset could debut as the ROG Phone 5. It is advisable to wait for more reports to know if the next ROG phone will be numbered ROG Phone 4 or ROG Phone 5.

In addition, the 3C listing indicates that the forthcoming ROG Phone gaming device will come with a fast 65W charging support. The networking component of the smartphone is equipped with 5G support. The listing just showed the support for charging the device, aside from the fact that we still have a lot to know about the handset.
Reports say that ASUS could bypass this generation and introduce a new gaming phone with a new name and the model number on the 3C list supports the details. The business has yet to announce a lot about the forthcoming ROG Handset. So far we know only that the gaming smartphone will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.

The poster picture posted in the Weibo post made it clear that the next-gen ROG gaming phone would come with a small chin edge-to-edge display. ROG Phone 3 was introduced with a 144Hz refresh rate display and this time the stakes are still high. It will be fascinating to see what ASUS is about to bring to the table this year.
