The Xiaomi Mi 11 was launched in China last December is now unveiled last week to the global markets. We expected Xiaomi to launch the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro at the event. And while the Chinese phone maker still has no word for the Lite and Pro versions, a hands-on video of the Mi 11 Ultra has appeared.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra leaks
A Filipino YouTuber uploaded the Mi 11 Ultra video to the Tech Buff PH YouTube channel. The video is actually set to private, but not before it was replicated for anyone to watch.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is reminiscent of the Poco M3, thanks to a massive camera bump on the back of the house with three cameras-50MP main, 48MP ultra-wide, and 48MP periscope. These are joined by the LED flash and the secondary mirror, which should be useful when attempting to take selfies with the main camera.
You see two models in the video-one in white and the other in black. Both have a 120X periscope unit written on the right, so the phone would be able to zoom in to 120X.
The white version, nevertheless, has “Ultra Pixel AI Camera” written below 120X, while the black version reads “120X, 12-120mm, 1:1.95-4.1” respectively. It’s not clear why both units have different text, but it could be because one or both of them are samples.
According to the YouTuber, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is built around a 6.81″ WQHD+ 120Hz curved OLED display, which is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and also has a hole in the upper left corner for the 20MP selfie shooter.
