Jio and Google are developing a 5G smartphone together. This phone was announced at AGM last year. At this year’s AGM, the company is expected to launch the Jio 5G phone. The upcoming Jio 5G phone is tipped to be priced around Rs 2500. The upcoming Jio 5G phone is said to run on Google’s Android Go software.
According to rumours, Jio will unveil a low-cost laptop alongside the Phone at this year’s AGM. JioBook is a possible name for the Jio laptop. According to internet rumours, the device will operate on a custom Android version and include features such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, a 1366×768 resolution, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. Their computers should come in two versions. The highest-end model of the incoming JioBook is expected to include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Reliance jio previously revealed that Jio 5G service will roll out by mid-2021, which is rightly at the time when the AGM will be held. The company has said to have created a complete 5G solution from scratch, Jio has reportedly used 100 percent home-grown technologies and solutions to develop the 5G service. It is likely that Jio 5G services will be announced at this year. The company is also likely to announce the roll out timelines.
The introduction of their phone, which was built by Jio and Google, is slated to take place later this month at the AGM event, but the release date could be pushed back. This means you’ll have to wait until Diwali to get your hands on a low-cost 5G phone. According to internet rumours, the Reliance Jio 5G phone will be available for purchase in October of this year. Jio is yet to reveal any specifics.
