Facebook is launching a new feature today that will enable users all over the world to archive their posts and notes on the social media platform and upload a copy of the data to Google Docs, WordPress, or Blogger. The new functionality is part of the Data Transfer Project, a cross-company data-sharing program that began in 2018 with the intention of enabling you to easily move data between different online services and platforms.
How to transfer your Facebook post/notes Data to other platforms?
Users may use the tool by going to their Facebook settings and choosing “Your Facebook Information,” followed by “Transfer a Copy of Your Information.” Now, You can then choose which account you want to move the data to (Google Docs, WordPress, or Blogger), log in, and confirm the transfer.
“To better reflect the range of data types people can now transfer to our partners’ services, we’re renaming the tool ‘Transfer Your Information’. We designed this tool with privacy, security, and utility in mind. We’ll ask you to re-enter your password before the transfer starts and encrypt your data as it moves between services, so you can be confident it will be transferred securely,”Steve Satterfield, Director of Privacy and Public Policy in a blogpost
